Located in a quiet area, this was a lovely, spacious home with some gorgeous touches: kids room fully equipped with toys & books, bathroom with quality toiletries & the kitchen well stocked. It was also decorated beautifully throughout.

This little cabin is an absolute gem & a very rare find! Completely secluded but also provides you with everything you could possibly want for your stay. The views are stunning & Richard is a fabulous host. There is a swimming pond (which we didn’t use this time around) & plenty of room for your dog to run around. Dotty the Dalmatian is gorgeous & you can invite her in if you wish - we loved her. Unfortunately we didn’t see the deer this time, but got up early for a beautiful sunrise & some rabbits. The local town is a very short drive from Monument Field & has a lovely cafe/hotel & a Co-op for supplies. We will definitely be booking again - thank you!

This is an amazing little hideaway. Beautiful views, and all so well thought out with stylish interiors. Great use of space inside the huts with everything you would need. Lovely welcome hamper on arrival. Our two children are 9 and 13 and managed fine in the bunk beds. They loved staying here and lit the outdoor fire both nights. We had gorgeous weather and used the bbq and outdoor space alot. We were so lucky to be one of the first customers at the Roost. Great and useful communication from the hosts. I’m sure this place will be booked up very quickly. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The sea view from the chalet is amazing and you can even see it while lying in bed. There is plenty to explore and the weather enhanced the beauty of our surroundings. It’s a quiet place to relax and unwind. Our host Sharon was already waiting at the gate on our arrival with a smile, helpful information and a few supplies to allow a relaxed first night. The chalet had everything we needed and more.

Beautifully decorated, felt like I was in a little resort. The communal kitchen was very well equipped and cleaned with lots of complimentary items and staples to use. Self check in was so convenient and the hosts were extremely friendly and accomodating!

Amazingly big and homy house that had everything our family needed and much more. Beautifully decorated, all the comforts of a true home. Just a few minutes walk from Motley Plain with all its shops and restaurants. Mike the owner was very kind and helpful. We would come back anytime we need a place in Plymouth.

Everything! The house is amazing & the privacy is guaranteed, basically isolated in a piece of heaven! Richard is present but he doesn't invade your moments at all! Position close to the national park so by taxi, if you have no car, is easy to reach it! The village and the river near by very cute.

Beautiful view, with a very rustic feel cabin including a lovely wood burner and a fully equipped kitchen. The hosts were super friendly (as well as Dotty the Dog). It was very private and very eco friendly. We had an amazing time and it was perfect.
