Amazing location, GORGEOUS room with top notch modern amenities (air conditioning, brand new smart tv, excellent lighting, bathroom floor heating! What?!) with so many little helpful details (bar fridge, nespresso + kettle, umbrella) and a REALLY nice shower. Bed was so comfy, staff was so helpful. I could afford it, and usually rooms I can afford aren’t half so well appointed. If I could give 100 stars I would.

This was our third time at Gardiner Lodge. Not cheap but an excellent option in Dublin, where hotels are in general ridiculously expensive. It has helpful staff and it is warmly and tastefully decorated with copies of works of art related to Dublin and its museums. Very good breakfast. This time we got an upgrade, for which I thank Gardiner Lodge. It is always nice to have more space in the room.

Convenient location with restaurants and grocery store at 5 min walk. Nice neighborhood, bus stop is right outside the lodge to visit the city center which is few stops away. The room was nice and clean, a bit clean small though. Staff was very courteous and nice! Bathroom was clean but the shower was small.

Getting met not only by John, the owner, when we arrived, but also his two dogs, som sheep and an alpaca. The view from the cabin is awesome, the animals are friendly, the area is lovely and the water pressure and heat in the shower is surprisingly good.
