The host family was very warm and welcoming. The location is convenient, with beautiful scenery, and it’s not far from the ski resort in winter. The house is new, clean, and well-organized. The air conditioning works great. I especially liked the kitchen, it was wonderful to buy fresh Hokkaido ingredients and cook our own meals. There’s also an adorable Alaskan sled puppy to play with, super CUTE!! If I have the chance to visit Furano again, I would definitely stay here. Highly recommended for families or friends traveling together to enjoy a cozy stay in a luxury lodge, a perfect place to connect with nature and relax.

Jimmy was very accommodating and helpful even before and throughout the trip, offering advice and even rides to the ski slopes and Furano city wherever possible. The place is well organized, kept warm during the winter season and clean. Water and hot coffee is provided free at the hall area. Jimmy cares to check your schedule and offer to send and pick you up from the ski resort or town area if there is no other conflicting schedule. His wife is an exceptional cook and we highly recommend having breakfast and dinner at the Pension - it is affordable and full of warmth. The serving is better than many restaurants food. A must try if your trip schedule fits the timing. We had a great stay here and will come back again.

Clean and traditional Japanese house with a futon and 2 beds. There were travel amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, swabs and a few cottons. There was even laundry detergent and laundry machine! We didn’t get how to unlock the key box at the entrance door and called the owner. He was really calm and helpful with speaking really fluent English and Japanese!

Very nice and homey. Lovely breakfast prepared by the sweetest Japanese Martha Stewart. Would have been perfect if the lavenders were already in bloom. But it was too early for that. Anyway it was a quiet a peaceful retreat and we were well rested

Clean and cosy. We liked that the pillow was firm and provided good support. The indoor onsen was very refreshing. Breakfast was superb.

Location was short walk to ski lifts and restaurants facilities great. Host helpful and friendly, great to have facilities for preparing own food. Beds firm like most in Japan. I'll be back.
