I cannot begin to explain what a wonderful stay we had here. The place is in a privileged spot facing the beach and we were lucky enough to get one of the rooms facing the lake directly, which made us feel we had our own private beach. The owners are charming and very kind and we will never forget this place!

We really enjoyed our stay, thanks to wonderful hosts Rob and Karen. The room is decorated and meticulously decorated down to the smallest detail and includes an amazing view and an outdoor jacuzzi. Excellent breakfast. Thank you Rob and Karen.

The location was 10 minute drive from the centre of Taupo, breakfast was excellent. Angie and Garth were incredibly friendly giving us help with places to eat and all around the local area. Despite the cold weather in New Zealand for summer we had a fire in the lodge to keep us warm.
