We were very warmly received and had great conversations with Alison and Andre (the host). They provided us with really useful local information and we followed their advice on what to visit the following day. Needless to say, we had a great day. Provided you like nature, this is a fabulous location to witness the sunset and listen to the birds. Overall a great place to stay near Westport.

This property is an absolute gem. You have sea and mountain views, located close to many walks and have the local tavern in walking distance. The rooms are generously sized, clean and comfortable with ample parking space. All the staff we met were wonderfully friendly and we look forward to returning in our next New Zealand adventure. We have nothing but thanks for our wonderful stay.

On arival we met the hosts , welcoming and warm made it fantastic from the get go ! The house has everything plus more , weather was average and drizzly but it didn’t matter . The fire was ever so warm and cozy , the board games etc fun. Honestly 10 out of 10 for everything 🥰

Loved everything about this property. Sandra and Doc were amazing. Fantastic breakfast overlooking an incredible beach. Beautiful rooms with views to die for and every detail considered thoughtfully for perfect comfort. We wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

The cottage is close to the beach and walking tracks. There’s plenty of space for 2 people and the bed was very comfy. Our hosts were lovely to chat to. We had a great stay & would recommend to anyone considering it.
