The owners are the best people that you can find in Luzon. Butch and Claire literally saved our holidays, helping us to solve a difficult circunstance. The place itself is in another league compared to the rest in banahue, which is quite rough. If you go to Banaue, don't go to any other place, and if you plan to do the trip on your own, consult them first, as they will give you valuable advise that you can trust - I cannot stress enough how kind and helpful the owners are.

5 minutes walk away from the bus station, perfect location. Wi-Fi is fast in the restaurant and it even reaches my room on the 2nd floor, Room 1. My room has the best view.

Las vegas Lodge's staff is among the best I have met in my travels. This is Banaue's original backpackers favourite. It has been around for decades, and I stayed here about 30 years ago. The place is still going strong and still run by the same woman. They have kept up with times, and improved a lot, even extended the balcony restaurant which is overlooking the rice terraces. It's a 'one stop shop' with a convenience store, souvenir shop, Guesthouse and restaurant all in one. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and had an attached bathroom with a hot shower. Good lightning, window with a view, a fan and good airflow, so my damp clothes could finally dry up. Charging outlets in the room. Excellent WiFi. I came from Batad and there is only 1 Jeepney so I arrived early, but they gave me the room straight away. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and the view from the terrace is incredible. Smoking area as well.

How amazing is the owner and her family of Cool Breeze Lodge and Cafe! Very new, clean, nice decor, great food all day and the stunning view of Banaue and the Rice Terraces. A 3 minute walk to the Tourist Office, vans to Sagada, Bonton and the museum. A further 3 minutes walk and you will find yourself in the market square with jeepneys, motorbikes, tricycles, shops, food and the height of activity. There is parking or ask to arrange a private driver.
