This is a small and intimate lodge. The surroundings are beautiful and the facilities are great. It is so peaceful and at night you can hear the hyenas and the lions. The staff are always friendly and cannot do enough for you. We went on a game drive which was by far the best we’ve had at a game reserve. I would stress that if you are prone to hayfever, take some antihistamines before your game drive! The reserve have some dogs, all friendly. The collie was with us all the time, such a good boy! You can get to a viewing deck overlooking the river which is lovely and the stars from there at night are great. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return in the future. Perfect!

Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, beautiful view, extra blankets. Everything we could need. The rusks, biscuits and fruit was a lovely homely touch especially for the kids who had been on the road all day eating take aways.
