Absolutely loved this magical place. Nice and quiet getaway, falling asleep with only the sound of the river. So much attention for details by the sweetest couple who run the place. Amazing view. Nice walk at the property along. the town close by felt very safe. We used this spot to travel to Drakensberg park, so after a day of hiking this was the perfect place to relax. One of our favorite spots in South Africa!

Better than the photos Beautiful setting. Rooms very comfortable. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. A big fire was made in the sitting room which was very cosy. And we were able to make coffee with fresh milk from the kitchen. Breakfast was served in the lovely sunny dining room by the hosts, Lorraine and Koos.breakk Highly recommended!

Winnie was so welcoming and the staff so friendly and super efficiant. The 4 bed house was well equiped for a large family. The establishment is set on a stud farm - so quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. set about 22 kms from Nottingham Road.

This was an amazing place that overlooks the Midlands meander, making it perfect for an RnR experience and river below was an added bonus because I got to take a dip in a little private setting .Judy was an excellent host to us .The friendly dogs also played their part for hosting us .Definitely will be returning !!!

The location was perfectly private but not too far out of the way. The surroundings are stunning and it was so lovely to have all the farm animals wandering around the property. The house was equipped with a fire pit, an inside fireplace, braai facilities and a jacuzzi which all make for a very comfortable stay.
