The room was comfortable. The meals were very delicious - we enjoyed the "Full Monty" breakfasts and tried most of the dinner meals, not one dissapointed us, they were all fantastic. The room was nicely spaced from other rooms which allows one to feel relaxed and have privacy. The whole team at Ascot Bush lodge were amazing, friendly and helpful, exceeded our expectations - Well done team you are amazing!!

The friendliness and care of the staff were exceptional. I was involved in a motorcycle accident on my way there, luckily I did not sustain any injuries and they offered to take me to a Dr or hospital, even also offered to go to buy me food and rook me to the airport in Pietermaritzburg to rent a car. They also gave me the telephone number to contact them if I had any trouble during the night

We attended a wedding nearby and stayed for 2 nights. We felt extremely safe (which was important as the surrounding areas and lodgings were not as safe). The place does need a bit of deep cleaning but for the price we were very satisfied. Friendly and helpful staff.

The view, the gardens, the pool. We stayed here while attending a wedding in the area. It was so relaxing and peaceful. There are nice places to sit in the garden and watch the view. Really comfy bed. John is very helpful and accommodating.

Such a beautiful location. Loved sitting out on the patio overlooking the dam watching the animals. Loved that we had free access to walk down by the dam. The cabin was comfortable and well stocked. But the hospitality of Sandy just makes everything special. We did not want to leave.
