Exceptional place to stay. Beautiful & classy interior design, very modern, sauna and quiet surroundings. Breakfast is fantastic and the staff is super friendly. Lots of pretty birds in the area.

Didn't like the 5 dogs that live on the property. Didn't like dogs barking at my family, hanging outside the house and barking all night long. It was scary.
The house was run down. Rustic is a good description. The kitchen was not thoughtfully equipped. Most of the windows didn't have screens. Be sure to bring bug spray. The hot water did not work. This place was overpriced. No wifi.
The house was missing a lock on the side door. The bent stick provided was not an adequate substitute for a lock.
This place has potential but needs work or a much lower price point.

> We loved Cafe Jardin - a delicious healthy menu, everything fresh and organic (don‘t get that a lot in Bolivia), including a lovely selection of teas from ingredients of their own gardens, which are impeccably maintained.
> The place is very peaceful on the slope of a side valley of Samaipata with green all around. Best view is from the stone throne on top of a rock at the upper end of the property.
> On the day of departure you get a bag of fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden to take with you !

Fantastic location above the town overlooking it. You need a 4x4 to get there though.
Very friendly couple managing the property. Very attentive and kind and helpful. Come early and have a fire lit in the living room which is large. Two bedrooms on first floor with balcony.
The cabin is spacious. Plenty of bathrooms. Warm water. Kitchen with large fridge.
It's a 500 m walk into the town, where there are good restaurants.
P.S. loved the black cat - have some milk ready.

it was just wonderful, what a surprise when we found out we could pick any of the organic produce growing in the garden and use it for our own cooking/eating in our cabin, this was truly a luxury ! The setting of Finca is also so magical and the terrain rich in foliage and greenery, so aesthetically pleasing. And the food at the cafe was excellent, fresh and beautifully presented. Plus we got all the help we needed about the many questions we had about the area as well as how to travel on from there. Everything was perfect !
