Be in good physical shape as you'll be walking on stone paved slight uphill road for about 25 mins. You'll be crossing 4 shallow puddles. I recommend good trail shoes. Flip flops is a big no no. I highly recommend Polo's cacao tour on his property. Get set for a different experience from the rest and one that you'll remember for many years going forward.

The night insects whistle at night, and you wake to the birds in the morning! The grounds are stunning and immaculate! They have lovely cats & dogs happily enjoying the property with you! Especially Mateo!:: ... They have the best customer service, handling all your needs, and they speak English and Spanish which can be a big plus for travelers! They sent their dogs with me for the back roads hike to beautiful waterfalls! The dogs led the way (pic attached!). Then when I came back, I tracked mud all over my floor. Carmen instantly arrived with a mop and cleaned my floor! Then I had a perfectly clean room again! 👍 .... I fell in love with Trompito, and the staff here mentioned a nice apartment down the road, which ended up being perfect for me, and now I will be neighbors to this lovely accommodations that offers you a unique and complete experience of a lifetime!

You can see the dedication of the owner on every detail. It has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. Premium mattress and linens, hot water, tasteful decorations and lots of small details. Yuca restaurant is a few steps away and we enjoyed great breakfast and dinners. Surrounded by beautiful nature, oceanview, nicely decorated and super clean. The atmosphere by the pool was very relaxing and we got offered nice drinks and snacks. Fiona and Helmut were the best hosts! Super friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcomed! The breakfast was always amazing and also even though they don’t have an official restaurant, they cooked us some very delicious meals every night! We cannot thank them enough for one of the best experiences we ever had!

This eco-friendly accommodation is equipped with a seating and dining area. Some units feature a terrace and/or balcony with sea views or views of the snow mountains. Amazing host and staff, perfect location right on the beach - where they also provide chairs and hammocks. The cabañas are really great with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. GREAT breakfast! Wish we could have spent more time there...
