Juan Santamaría International Airport is 88 km from the property. The cabin we had was amazing! We got an upgrade to the family hut which was such a pleasure to stay in. The staff were lovely, the food was great and the setting just amazing. I also found the prices for the guided tours pretty reasonable.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the outdoor cooking area and we truly felt surrounded by the jungle. Lots of lovely touches within the property- water in a cooler/ fridge/ outdoor cooking area/ helpful booklet on surrounding area and lovely decor. The water stopped working which was not an issue as our hosts resolved the problem immediately we notified them.

Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the river and garden. Amazing place, house is luxurious and decorated with a good taste. Well equipped. You can feel that the owner has put a lot of heart into this place. Direct access to the river, you can even use kayaks. Nice veranda with hammocks to chill out and a barbecue place. Perfect place for a few days of peace and relax.

This was easily the best place we stayed on our 3 week trip is Costa Rica. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were amazing, they have a brand new pool to cool down in. The breakfast was very incredible, and the lunch and dinner were the best tasting food we had on our trip (the Spanish omelette is a must). By far the most special thing was the wildlife, within the hotel trails we saw monkeys, sloths, toucans, Macaws, lots of hummingbirds and butterflies to name a few. You can see all of this whilst having a beer or walking the 3km of trails within the hotel. At night time the trails come alive with frogs. It deserves more than a 10 rating, only regret was we only stayed for 2 nights.
