The shepherds huts are absolutely beautiful, we had the most relaxing weekend away for Easter. The huts have everything you need and are very cosy and comfortable. Perfect location for getting out and exploring the local area and nice and peaceful. Nicky the host goes above and beyond to ensure guests have the most amazing time and is always on hand for anything else you may need or with local recommendations. She takes pride in the huts and puts extra little touches when you arrive.

Beautiful view and the shepherds involved with everything you need for cooking. It was cleaner than 5 star hotels and comfort . Luxurious lodge, Woodlands View, Hot tub at Rudyard Lake, couples or small family ofrece jardín y vistas al jardín. Everything is perfect , the cabin is so well equipped, it’s warm and welcoming the location is amazing so peaceful, the cabin is spacious and spotless, we enjoyed the hot tub after a cold walk around the beautiful lake

It felt like living a bit in the now and a bit in the past. It was comfortable and had all the things we needed. Most of all, the setting and the view is beautiful. I loved the bird songs the sheep across the valley, the horses in the pasture next to the house. And the house was cozy and cute.

Very detailed about how to get to the property. A very friendly and peaceful place to stay! Milk and a few snacks were put out for arrival, this was a bonus! The doggos all playing together.

It is in such a beautiful location overlooking the peak district, with the best sunsets! The hosts Jo and Paul are very welcoming and helpful, very quick response times! The Lodge I stayed in was dog friendly, it was so clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. It is a 15 minute drive to Carsington water and there are pubs/shops nearby. It is easy to get to other areas of the peak district. I'd go as far to say it's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed! I'll definitely be returning and friends and family are coming next time!

Attention to details was incredible. From a full pantry of non parishables to conversation starter books. The lodge itself gave the vibe that you travelled back in time. Just loved our weekend at this place.
