Cabins in Scotland

Location. Found the cabins/chalets to offer better accommodation than some of the main hotel rooms we’ve stayed in previously.

It was very dirty and a shambles. In the toilets for the cabins, tiles were missing. Inside, the taps were broken and barely working. No hand towels either. The separate showers were better, but both doors into the them were broken, and one didn't shut at all. The entrance to the hotel was very untidy, and there were detritus littered all over the place. The staff were good but overwhelmed with it all. It wasn't a great advertisement for all the people from abroad walking the West Highland Way.

Stunning location in the middle of nowhere :) great cabin for 4 people, private parking next to the chalet. Great stay!

The pods are great and the Nature is awesome. Near the pods you have everything. Another small cabin for all guests with an old fireplace, some Games for the kids, and dishes. There is everything you need. I really liked the other Hut for the Tea preparation. The separat shower and toilet cabin was really Clean, it looks like it was new. We really enjoyed our accomodation. Ian and Nicole are lovely and very helpful. The snow at the end of march was a highlight 😜

We liked the location the most. The cabin had the heaters provided. It was cosy at night. Nice kitchen and housekeeping staff. Good and handy car park space next to the chalet. Tea room nearby is really handy too. Quiet during the day and night as well.

Lovely hut with modern furniture which has everything needed for a comfortable stay: well-equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, optimum layout for a small cabin. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet surroundings. Fantastic sandy beach only a few minutes away on foot. A great coastal walk can be done too.

It is a small cabin or hut with a bathroom at the back. Very quiet. Body wash and linen. Kettle, tea and coffee. Bedside lighting, beautiful setting, Kitchen is a little distance from the room if weather is wet, but not too bad. A 10 minute walk into town. The whole island is so peaceful and beautiful.

Absolutely wonderful stay at By The Way campsite! My husband and I had a lovely little chalet hut to ourselves which was spotless and so cosy. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Facilities were very clean.
