Location is everything with this property, which is a beautifully renovated funaya right on the water in Ine fishing village. It's self catering accommodation and we hadn't made any reservations at the small number of local restaurants. However, we found a lovely place right across the road from our house. Our room overlooked the water and despite the wet weather the views were amazing. Our host also arranged a private boat tour of the bay for us, which picked us up from our own jetty! A magical stay. Highly recommend.

The two stories allowed us to spread out a bit. The rooms were comfortable and had good AC, important for a very hot July. Nice bathroom and laundry. Very responsive host.

Minami Toji---JP Style Guesthouse in Kyoto is ideaal gelegen midden in het centrum van Kyoto, en biedt een tuin en uitzicht op de tuin. I loved how everything was super clean and the house was super cozy. There were heat pumps in both bedrooms so it was very comfortable at night. Also, the proximity to Toji Temple as a nice surprise.

Staying at Daisenji Lodge was an amazing experience. We picked up our keys from the Daisenji Temple that is located right next to the apartments; very easy and straightforward. We were contacted on the booking.com app multiple times with detailed instructions about everything. The apartment is very spacious; a family of 4 or 5 would have plenty of room. They even have mangas and a PS3 for children (or playful adults)! The location is great; a 5 minute walk to subway station and the nearby supermarket that has delicious prepared meals. Very close to the Kamo river and the beautiful park that runs along its length (great for birders!). The washer/dryer is very convenient for longer stays, and the bathroom is amazing as well. In general, I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The location is fantastic, with peaceful surroundings that made our experience even more special, and the area itself is simply stunning. It was the perfect place for our honeymoon! A huge thank you for the amazing hospitality – we can’t wait to come back!

Yadoya Lodge is gunstig gelegen in de wijk Sakyo (Speciale Wijk) in Kyoto, en is gelegen op 14 minuten lopen van Shugakuin Imperial Villa, 3,8 km van Ruriko-in en 3,9 km van Tempel Eikan-do Zenrin-ji.... Fantastic. Hiro-san was an amazing host.
