森のフェアリー Cottage Morino Fairy All cotage with open-air bath with sea view or river view ligt op 19 km van Yakusugi Land en biedt een tuin. We loved our stay here. The host took her time to explain everything and answered a lot of my questions. Very nice and responsive. The trees on the back patio invite a lot of birds so I got to watch them every morning. We rented a car, the cottage was easy to find and access. It's very comfortable, the air temp in the room, the furniture, the hot tub on the patio, the kitchenette. Although we mostly ate the already prepared food from the grocery stores.

We stayed for 2 nights at Hokkoma cottage and loved our stay. The property itself was wonderful, had everything we needed and felt like home. Our trip was focused on taking advantage of Aso's beautiful nature and the cottage's location allowed us to do this. It was also great to know that there was a large bath to use after the hike to soak our tired legs!

Okawachiyama LODGE - Village of the Secret Kilns!, een accommodatie met een tuin en een terras, bevindt zich in Imari, op 31 km van Huis Ten Bosch, 21 km van treinstation Takeo-Onsen, en 22 km van... The Lodge was a wonderful place to spend a night in Imari. It's full of character and close to all of the kilns and shops making it easy to explore. Our host greeted us and gave us some tips for onsen and restaurants. There was also a great info book about the house, which was very useful as some of light switches are in funky spots. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The Japanese style tatami and cushions in the living room with the heater were very comfortable. Appliances worked great to cook for the two of us and overall a great stay!

星空に包まれる 森の隠れ家 Amrita Lodge ~stay & retreat~ bevindt zich in de wijk Kirishima-jingu Onsen in Kirishima, 12 km van Ebino-plateau, en biedt een terras en gratis WiFi. The lodge was incredibly well furnished with extremely good style, Middle East and Japanese style. A complete kitchen with all equipment and items was available. The bath was not with hot spring water but you can use as a real Onsen just with tap water, extremely positive. Yui the owner is a fantastic host and therapist, she practice us a wonderful professional massage in the lodge. TV with Netflix and Prime video was available for a relaxing night like being at home after 10 days of tour. It was a totally different experience in Japan, instead of the usual micro hotel room having a full lodge just for us. I recommend this location if you are in the area. A lot of trails are available in the area, Yui can help you in selecting the most appropriate place to visit.. Absolutely recommendable!!!

House owner is friendly, caring and helpful. Strongly recommended if you are a nature lover. Note that the mountain road is paved but too narrow and winding for unexperienced drivers.

Tsushima Miuda Pension bevindt zich op 2 minuten lopen van Miuda Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een gedeelde keuken. Tsushima Miuda Pension is located next to the beach and the hot springs. The huts are simple, but comfortable and the shower water pressure is great. The kitchen comes with a cooking plate and a rice cooker, which was very convenient for me.
