The hosts were exceptional, the meals exquisite, and the space wonderful. The nature surrounding the lodge was an amazing respite from the busy cities. Waking to the sound of howler monkeys and the waves along the shores of Lake Cocibolca was magical.

Maderas Volcano is 6.2 km from Dragon's Garden. This place is so cute and relaxing! The view of Concepcion is so nice to wake up to in the morning and the energy here is so relaxed and comfortable. The dry toilets were cleaned everyday, the shower is nice. The grounds are well-kept. Location is great. Friendly and helpful staff - come prepared to speak Spanish!
