Cabins in South Island

Comfy bed in a well heated cabin. The toilet and shower areas were clean (and heated!!), this really helped the stay to be enjoyable. Free shuttles to and from Queenstown were great (check timetable and prebook).

Beautifully quiet, blissfully basic hut exactly as described. Warm comfy bed, all kitchen items, clean basic hot shower and toilet just outside. Fab little log burner with logs supplied warmed the cabin beautifully. Stunningly clear night skys, well worth popping outside to look at the stars of its clear! Even the train going past was nowhere near so noisy as I had expected. Perfect minimalist escape.

Templenoe is set in a very quiet, peaceful location. The chalet style cabin looked out onto a well groomed garden.

I stayed in the Hunter's Hut and even though it's one of the smallest cabins, it's awesome! It has everything you need and the bed is big. The outdoor covered space is big enough to have your motorcycle or bike under cover which is nice if the weather goes bad.

A really interesting property. Imagine a wooden Swiss chalet. Lots of space, very good facilities. Located just a 10 minute walk from town centre. Table tennis available in the garage

We love this place so much! Came back for another few days before we leave the area. So comfortable and calm. Beautiful setting. Cabins are great, stayed in Chaff Hut this time. Kitchen well equipped and clean. Bathroom and shower clean and spacious with lashings of hot water. Patio great for tranquil moments and time out. Town is lovely with 2 coffee shops, one at each end! Lovely walks around and close to Gore Bay.

Stayed in a dorm cabin and private room. Private family room was great with all facilities you would expect. Dorm cabin rooms are very small with little floor space for bags, but clean. Communal kitchen was okay. Good location for sea taxis/shuttle into national park.

Location, quaintness of huts, friendly staff, bedding and beds were good. Sound of ocean and access to beach excellent...food cart in park great idea. Toilet bock too far away from cabins. We are NZers on a weekend away...

Self contained cabin was clean and convenient. Facilities were all clean, good playground. Very quiet at night and spectacular views from park. 5-10min walk to a couple of restuarants and bar. Highly recommend Cargo at Gantleys for food. Free town shuttle. So much to do in Queenstown!
