Wow, this accommodation blew us away! Pierre and Manon who are running this property with a lot of LOVE are incredible people worthy of admiration! They bought a house with a good amount of land around it and have constructed several cabins, a yoga deck, a restaurant and a boat house over the last few years. Ataraxia has its own pier, so boatmen will easily take you there from Isla Colon. At the back of the property, there is a nature reserve, a jungle with so many treasures! We were able to spot the red frogs, caimans, a racoon, yellowtail birds, giant turquoise butterflies, turtles, giant ants, we rented a free kayak and paddled through the mangroves nearby, and we walked on several occasions to Old Bank, the main village on Isla Bastimentos, and once to Wizzard Beach. Manon also booked us a trip to Zapatilla (including sloth, dolphin and starfish spotting and snorkeling) and Pierre arranged our transportation to the airport. Several ideas for activities in the area conveniently presented in a booklet in the room (Zapatilla trip, Wizzard Beach hike, Red Frog & Polo Beach, bio-luminescence tour, etc.). Free kayaks and snorkeling gear available. If you are into botany and medicinal plants, you will have a lot to talk about with Pierre who planted so many of them around the property. Running a guesthouse in the middle of the jungle is a hard task, yet the couple somehow manage it and always keep smiling and interacting with guests at all times. Thank you very much, we will never forget our stay with you! You are a true inspiration! Be aware that: there is no hot water or AC and you cannot use a hairdrier, as the place runs on solar energy. There is wifi. Rooms are cleaned daily and are very spacious. Cold drinks available in the common fridge and option to have dinner. Tasty and creative breakfast included.

Prachtige locatie! Super vriendelijke eigenaars. Je voelt je meteen heel welkom! De plek straalt rust uit…. Een privé strand met super gave golven maar wel sterke stroming dus oppassen. Veel lieve dieren te spotten vanaf het terras. Waaronder Rio onze favoriete wilde toekan die bijna elke dag langs komt 🥰 Wel ver van alles afgelegen maar dit weet je van tevoren. Koelkast en keukentje ter beschikking en ontbijt is heerlijk!

It really feels like you’re away from daily life. In the middle of nature. Wonderful flora and fauna (saw sloths, monkeys and so much more!). Also such easy, quick and helpful communication with the owner Jennifer. She will help you with anything you may need at any moment of the day!

Bahia Coral Lodge is gelegen in Bocas del Toro in de regio Isla Colon, en heeft een balkon en uitzicht op de zee. The house was very well decorated and finished to a high standard. The reef around it was beautiful, we seen a spotted eagle ray, octopus, moray, barracuda, toadfish, and more while snorkelling. Very peaceful, the owners live close by and stocked up the mini fridge within minutes of us asking. There was also the offer of breakfast and a 3 course dinner, which we didn't take, but in hindsight, might have made the trip even better. Wonderful 2 nights and would highly recommend. There was drinking water provided, warm showers, a toaster and a gas hob and the hosts were in contact before and during my visit, so i could find out anything i needed to know in advance.

Great location in the jungle where you can see wildlife and close to Bluff beach and walking trails. Rather large place for casita (2 bedrooms, large outdoor bathroom and kitchen).

Chalet Tropical is gelegen op 16 minuten lopen van Playa La Griega en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi. Wij hebben hier een super fijne tijd gehad, als gezin. Wat een enorme ruimte en een lekker ruim zwembad. Ook de locatie was heerlijk, 8 min met taxi naar t centrum. De dame die boven de woning woont, is super aardig en heeft ons enorm geholpen met van alles! Dat was helemaal te gek. Ik zou deze plek echt aan iedereen aanraden!!
