He was attentive to our needs, whilst giving us space to relax and rest our weary bodies. The pool was hot, although we didn’t have time to use it, the place was lovely with well kept plants and flowers and decorations. When we were about to leave, Ronaldo offered us bamboo sticks to walk up the last part of the trek to Cabanaconde. The beds were great with memory foam pillows and warm blankets and it was a relief with the hot shower to clean off the days sweat and dust - with shampoo and conditioner there! The food was good and a really good price, and we were able to stalk up on water and snacks before the trek up.

Many walks along canyon ridge starting right from hotel. Run primarily by a very hard-working and kind and thoughtful family. Food was farm-to-table. Views are so great you should spent at least two full days there to get full appreciation. Beautiful eco lodge and amazing hospitality by the family. Thank you so much for a great experience, and for organizing a 5am cab to Chivay for us :)

Killawasi Lodge is situated in the heart of the famous Colca Valley, in the village of Yangue. Surrounded by panoramic green landscapes, it offers modern accommodations with private balconies. Wonderful place, super friendly staff that makes sure you are being taken care of, and the view from our room was just breathtaking. They take outstanding care of the property, too, growing variety of flowers, and everything is spotless clean. Their Quinoa restaurant serves the best meals we ve tasted during our three week trip. Surrounded by greenery and hills at the bottom of the Sangelle Valley and offering an outdoor pool and free breakfast, Oasis Paraiso Ecolodge is located in Cabanaconde. Owners extremely attentive to care and very nice, the food is amazing, and rooms are clean (not sure why we read the opposite on some reviews - I think two hotels are called the same), great stay!

Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. the stuff was very friendly and welcoming. We felt very good and had a great time.
