We stayed as a group of eight people, had four rooms, and each one of them was different – this truly charmed us all. Every detail, such as a toilet hidden behind a closet door, pillows decorated with lace, paintings with lace displayed under glass, the view from the windows, the very large and cozy beds – everything was so thoughtful and homely, making you feel at home while being right in the heart of the town. Breakfast was served in a nearby café – plentiful and delicious – and the service was very pleasant. For those who ordered tea, each received an entire jug! Parking was nearby as well. It was an unforgettable, fantastic experience – during our 12-day stay in Albania, this was the best choice we could have made.

The location was perfect, very close to the centre of town and right below the castle yet located such that you can enjoy the views and tranquility rather the city centre party music. The room was wonderfully done up, very modern and comfortable. The best was the service as the people were wonderful and always ready to help with a smile. Our best stay in Albania!

Everything about our stay at Rose Garden was outstanding. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-stocked with amenities. We loved the authentic feel of the room decor as well. Breakfast was delicious and included a variety of foods. The hotel is quite central and is a short walk from the castle, old market, and restaurants. The views from the hotel are enough to make staying here worth it.

This was by far our best stay in our Albania tour! THE BEST! The hotel is a gem, right in the heart of Gjirokastër! The room was not too big, but beautifully designed, and sooooo comfortable! And the outside garden/terrace is just out of this world! You feel like you’re in an old bazaar café! And when you think that things cannot get any more amazing, you up to stairs to the Obelisk and see the city and the castle (especially beautiful at night)! Even though the hotel has no parking space, the owner will help you find one! You might as well just let him drive (like we did) since the city is not an easy one for driving (really narrow streets, really steep too). You need to climb some stairs to get to it (totally worth it) and could get a bit noisy due to the location (above a bar, right in the heart of old town), but after all the walking during the day going up and down the hilly streets, you’ll sleep like a log :)) We just loved it there, absolutely amazing! We highly recommend it!!

It’s a charming traditional hotel in the heart of the old town, just a 2-minute walk from public parking. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with an updated bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming.
