This b&b is so special. We couldn’t have had a more relaxing and pleasant stay. The owners were so accommodating (staying up till past 2am for our check in) and providing fruit and offering sandwiches for our early check out. They even made a special effort to celebrate my friends birthday! It’s recently refurbished, in a great location - you’re a stones throw from all restaurants bars and the beach! Can’t wait to visit again soon!

The hotel was beautiful from the moment walking in. Greeted by friendly reception staff, lovely and clean and room was spacious with lots of storage space and a beautiful balcony with views of the beach. Air conditioning works very well (although the doors are a tad finicky) The hotel had access to 2 private beaches - 1 right out the front (Dora beach) and Submarine at Llamani beach Breakfast had many choices and a nice area around the pool

We loved everything about this hotel! Free parking, big and clean rooms, comfortable beds, short walk to the nearest beach, but our kids enjoyed swimming pool of course! 😉 Also breakfast (upon request) was delicious. Himare is just a short drive from there.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was good and secure (we needed their directions to fine the car park entrance). 10ish minute walk to town centre. All came in very cheap. The room was also very spacious for two people.

Lovely location, beach is easily accessible. Restaurants are across the beach, boats are available to explore secret and pristine crystal water beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Also, Himare castle which is also a worthy place to visit.

We really liked Livadhi beach.

We really liked Livadhi beach. It is not too large, was quiet when we visited (late September), and has beautiful views. It is a pebble beach, so can be a bit challenging to get into the sea. The water was clear and had a very nice temperature. There are several restaurants and bars, as well as some small supermarkets where you can get essentials if you want to cook yourself. For eating out, I recommend Dimitri's, which is at the entry to the beach. Great food (Greek inspired), very reasonable prices and efficient service. We did visit the main strip of Himare one evening but were not impressed. Could be anywhere (Greece, Spain etc.) and the food we had was average at best.

Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the moment you arrive. The town is small but full of charm, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly locals. You’ll find everything you need: beaches, restaurants, little shops, and a touch of authentic Albanian hospitality. The beaches are truly the highlight. From the main Himarë beach along the promenade to the smaller coves near Prinos, the water is crystal clear and inviting. Street parking is free and accessible. For those who love exploring, having a car is a must—nearby treasures like Porto Palermo, Aquarium Beach, and Gjipe (which requires a short but rewarding 2 km hike) are absolutely worth it. Himarë has both the charm of a quiet village and the energy of a seaside town. You’ll enjoy fresh seafood, traditional Greek-Albanian dishes, and the simple pleasure of strolling along the corniche at sunset. It’s not overly touristy yet, which makes it feel authentic and special. The only thing I didn’t like? That our stay was too short! Two nights are not enough for Himarë: it deserves much more time to be discovered and enjoyed. And next time, I won’t leave without trying the famous Greek gyros at one of the local restaurants. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a mix of beautiful beaches, authentic culture, and a peaceful yet lively atmosphere. Himarë is definitely a destination to return to.

Very cozy little town, amazing mountains. Has everything you need. Several grocery stores. Nice people, program options, hiking, crystal clear water everywhere, free beach, sunbeds if you want. Pleasant evening music. Good restaurants. The Great Chimara tour was amazing!!!

New Hotel , opened a month ago , fresh & nicely furnished. Family owned , friendly & caring, helped with boat tour and walked us to the boat Hotel is close to the beach Umbrellas and comfortable beach chairs available for small cost , closest beach is the main one with the board walk and restaurants . We stayed another night because we liked the hotel . Onsite parking convenient as this area of Himarë is not easy parking

Nice hotel slightly outside of the "downtown" central Himarë, but a manageable 10-15min walk to the restaurants. Small supermarket next to hotel which is great to pick up water and snacks for the beach. Staff is kinda and friendly (including the dog!). Room as clean and tidy. Breakfast is good. Didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. Plenty of parking space.

Everything you need if you want a pleasant escape in Albania near the beach. There are no night clubs around so it's very calm at night. The rooms are beautiful and everything is functioning. Free beach lounger for guests and free spacious parking at the back of the hotel. You can see the sea from your balcony. Functioning smart TV with Netflix.

The staff are very polite , the hotel is in a very good location Right on the beach , the room have an amazing Beach View There is no extra charges for the chairs on the beach or parking, is just 10 minutes walking to Himare downtown.
