A truly epic stay! From the moment we stepped into The Tamborine Boutique Hotel, we were blown away! The staff here are absolutely incredible—they went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. Every single person we encountered was so friendly, accommodating, and genuinely eager to ensure we had the best experience possible. The views are absolutely stunning, and the food was out of this world. The sensational continental breakfast each morning was a highlight—so fresh, so tasty, and packed with variety. Plus, the pool is perfect for relaxing and taking in the gorgeous surroundings. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’ll be back for sure!

This property is amazing! Everything about it is so perfect! You can enjoy peace, comfort and beauty of nature here. I loved terrace with the view on avocado tree and sunset/sunrise. The bath with the salt is so relaxing, towels and bathrobe are so soft and last but not least bed is extremely cosy! Real luxury!

Mount Tamborine is honestly one of my favourite places in...

Mount Tamborine is honestly one of my favourite places in QLD. It’s the perfect mix of rainforest, views, good coffee and wine, and short adventures that don’t exhaust you — but still feel like an escape. My absolute favourite walks there are Witches Falls and Palm Grove (Jenyns) — both are fun, beautiful, slightly challenging, and give that real rainforest feeling. Those two were the MOST enjoyable for me. I also love that Mt Tamborine has a peaceful, “holiday but close to home” vibe — you can hike, then go for a coffee, a wine tasting, a nice lunch, then relax again. It feels like a real reset — but only 45–60 minutes from GC. Mount Tamborine = green, calm, beautiful, adventurous — and those 2 hikes are the BEST ones for me.

If you like to visit wineries, distilleries and a bit of a foodie, then this is the place to spend some time. There are heaps of options to pass the day - decision is which ones to visit and for how long. If bush walking is your thing, then there are heaps of trails and waterfalls to explore too! A weekend is just not long enough - you will need to come back again to be able to enjoy the many wonders this area has on offer! Young or old, there is something for everyone.

Get your bearings, see Jeff at the information centre, so helpful with maps and recommendations- then just keep going, choices are endless for rain forest walks, falls, botanical gardens and of course Gallery Walk which includes the German Cuckoo clock shop and George’s Greek restaurant- fabulous place to visit.

Very interesting area with many rainforest walks. The B & B is very comfortable accommodation with million-dollar views of the Gold Coast. Breakfast was served on the deck accompanied by Pied Butcherbirds and Sulphur-crested Cockatoos. The stone archway and flower planters were there in 1966.

Mt tamborine needs a face lift. Looking very tired on it now from what it looked like in the 70ies More like a forgotten place with lots of dilapidated buildings, with some junk stores in the tourist spots

The accommodation is set in a beautiful garden with stunning views over the Gold Coast and Mount Tamborine area and is very private and tranquil. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We loved the home made breakfast served on the deck area with its lovely views. Owners Jess and Albert were so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. This is a really lovely place to stay.
