Walpole was lovely and quiet.

Walpole was lovely and quiet. It was very peaceful with a lovely walk along the inlet and in the forest behind the visitor centre. If you have a dog, you need to be aware that a lot of the surrounding areas are National Parks, and a dog is not allowed to enter them. We were able to take the dog to nearby Parry Beach which was good.

Walpole is great for the outdoor family, tree top walk, multiple state forests and more walking and riding trails than you will fit in. there are 4WD tracks and the beach views are spectacular (don't miss out on Mandalay beach). We highly recommend Walpole as a holiday destination.

Our impression of the town is very good.

Our impression of the town is very good. Civic pride is visible. The town is compact so very easy to navigate. Had to visit the medical center and that went very smoothly. Our visit to the pharmacy, however, did not leave a great impression. Ate in the dining room of our accommodation. Very good. Excellent service. Loved the Tree Top Walk and we were totally in awe of the beautiful countryside surrounding Walpole.

We enjoyed the walked to the different location, tree top walk is great too. The one thing not happy about was no food places open except pub. We did go to the Dam restaurant which was great. But other were close for the winter . So that was disappointing. We walk the 300 steps at the Franklin summit it was had but worth it.

Walpole is a very small town so very easy to walk around the main street. Had a nice dinner at the local hotel which seems quite popular with the locals. Good base for exploring local attractions such as the Eco tour on the inlet, the tree top walk or just exploring the local bushland areas.

Walpole is a great base for explore the south coast.

Walpole is a great base for explore the south coast. Lots of natural sites to see. It was not high season so not much choice for food and local amenities were a little lacking me shut rather early but the natural beauty far outweighs this minor gripe

A lovely quiet location with kangaroos visiting in the evenings and mornings where you can enjoy watching them trim the grass. Very comfortable cabins which are well appointed. Close to Walpole Centre. Chris was very helpful, and we will recommend Tinglewood Cabins to our friends as a great place to stay when visiting this area. The cabins are very well appointed with everything you would need, even for an extended visit

The stay in the luxury glamping tent was amazing, better than most 5 star hotel rooms. Location to beach , walking trails & town was perfect . Very helpful staff who suggested WOW Eco cruise which was a fantastic experience. Other activities like Giant tree top walk only 10 minutes drive away.

Lovely spot on the banks of the Walpole Inlet however the operators were deceitful in offering a ground floor, newly funished unit on this website which was booked confirmed & paid for. This is not what was received,it was an very old elevated unit and not refurbished.
