This lovely house became our relaxing spot. We got an experience of quiet, peaceful village life. Amazing views were big bonus (photos cannot show all the energy). And of course Rade himself is the great host - kind and thoughtful (he warmed up the house just right for our arrival, showed everything and prepared pretty compliment)

Perfect getaway in the mountain. Short drive from nearby swimming lake. The most hospitable and genuine hosts, we were welcomed by the entire family for a tea/coffee and treats. Our kids loved playing in their property land with other kids too. The cottage was spotless, had everything we needed for our family of 5. Well recommended!

Well placed with good restaurant and shops nearby. Very nice room, everything that two cyclists needed on a trip through this area. Truly the nicest family we have seen and talked to on this trip. We are english and their son spoke very good english which meant we could communicate well. They took us to a very nice restaurant nearby where we got a local delicacy, which was exactly what we wanted. I cannot stress enough how nice the people here are, and in the whole town of gacko. Nearby there is also a really good bakery, with amazing stuff for breakfast/lunch. Note: here is how to find the property, near the marker there supermarket, follow the road behind it and you will see two houses, it is the one on the left.

This is a place you must book! It's less than 10 minutes from the main road. We drove rented Volkswagen Polo on a tarmac and gravel road to the accommodation and it was perfectly fine. The room is homey and comes complete with a kettle, hair dryer, free herbal tea, and a fridge. Most importantly, the mattress is very comfortable—just what you need after a hike. The accommodation is situated on the way to Perucica forest, Trnovacko Lake, and Maglic Mountain. It took us a 50-minute drive from here to the starting point for Trnovacko Lake. Danielo (the owner) was kind enough to share information about Sutjeska National Park and its surroundings. He shared details about hiking trails and activities available here. There are only two units at this camp, which makes it feel private and secluded. There are also two other campsites near this accommodation. A restaurant next to the accommodation, which belongs to Danielo's friend, is also available if you need a meal. There are restaurants and markets (small grocery shop) near to the main road.
