Everything was perfect and super fabulous! "10+!" The place is extremely nice, full of character with lovely decorations! The hosts are very nice and welcoming and provide you with everything you need (we requested for baby cot, high chair and earlycheck-in and they helped us with all). They have a lovely guest book, and Marc offers to take your photo and add it next to your note. Loved it! Also, it's extremely clean, cozy and comfortable. The location is great too! Beautiful surroundings and very relaxing. We had an amazing stay and definitely and highly recommended! Surely we would come back! Thanks Marc and Nathalie for your great hospitality 🙏

The house is very nice and located in a beautiful, quiet, rural location. The bedrooms and the bathroom are spacious and there is a nice living room and well equipped kitchen. There is plenty of natural light in all the house and the outside area is also nice and relaxing, with a barbeque also available. The host, Sandrine, was very communicative and also came over to see that everything was OK.

We were there to sample a bit of belgian normal life and also the Chimay motorcycle road races. We had an excellent stay. The beer is also excellent. However its strong so take it steady as do the locals. ' when in rome'.

We first came for a town twinning (Jumelage) series of events. The main reason why you may know the name "Chimay" is because of the famous beers brewed locally by Trappist monks, also it's cheeses and local sausages...you can't come here and not be aware of them! The town centre is compact, everything significant being within walking distance. The Castle is a lovely place to visit, and its ornate theatre is breath-taking. The resident Prince (Philippe) and his family are genuinely charming if you are fortunate enough to meet and talk to them during your time there. It's a friendly town, boasting a delightful cobbled town square where you can sometimes catch a musical group or modern brass band playing. It has friendly people and a great little market on Friday mornings. and there are enough historic and natural attractions around in the locality to make it a decent centre for touring.

Location is ideal for the motor circuit events, unfortunately one of the restaurants in the Town Sq. has closed and Grand Cafe is only open Fridays and Saturdays, excellent food. The Casio bar/restaurant is good for food but service was slow. The area is excellent for driving or riding, still haven't managed to visit Chimay Monastery yet where they make the beer and cheese.

The Hainaut region is a magical place for hiking, cycling, and cultural visits. There are numerous castles, churches, and abbeys worth exploring. The most impressive is the historic center of Chimay, built around its medieval castle. The Chimay area also boasts some culinary gems.

Chimay is a medium-sized to small town.

Chimay is a medium-sized to small town. You can visit the castle and the charming market square. There are some incredibly beautiful walks nearby: Fondry des chiens in Nismes and Virelles. Visiting the Chimay Experience (beer) is also highly recommended.

A beautiful, traditional Hotel in an idyllic setting by a pretty stream. The host was brilliant and accommodated every request. There is a fantastic local, traditional restaurant just a 2 minute walk away. If you want to experience proper, rural Belgium at its best - this is the place. This is also a motorbike-friendly establishment, ideal for those touring - we kept our bikes in their locked garage, overnight, fully loaded with all our gear. Just perfect

The people were very sweet and accommodating. They offered local recommendations for walks in the area and you get to taste a complementary Chimay! The roulotte and the bed are super comfortable! The breakfast was delicious. They have a cute book where you can write about your experience and they add your photo to it. All in all a great experience! It's a unique stay, it's very rural with views of a meadow and it smelled of wood inside.

Lovely quirky studio apartment with everything you need plus. Fantastic location, right in the centre of Chimay opposite the back of the church Collégiale Saints-Pierre-et-Paul. Very close to bars and restaurants, and yet tucked away in a secluded corner with an outside table and chairs to watch the house martins as the sun goes down. Amazing value, thoroughly recommend.

The rooms were large with a big bathroom, well stocked mini bar with wine, beer and soft drinks. Also had tea and coffee making facilities. Good place to park motorcycles round the back. Good location a short walk from the centre of Chimay. Property also has a large garden. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
