    There are good walking paths around in the woods. Also a beautiful lake with restaurant and swimming is close by. Neufchateau itself is not big, and we did not go inside the town itself, as we only stayed 1 night.

    We've had such a nice stay at the Hillview Hotel! The hotel is located at a holiday park (Roompot) and everything is brand new. The area is very quiet with lots of nature. The rooms are very comfortable. Especially the staff and the restaurant were amazing! Such nice people who absolutely did the extra mile and the food was really good (both breakfast and dinner). I have already recommended the place to others and would love to come back.

    We stayed in a lake-view family room with balcony, which was a divided space of a double bed downstairs and two single beds up the stairs (but it's all the same space). It was quite spacious, overlooking the lake with a nice view and a balcony to relax outside. The hotel is an easy walk down to the lake. The breakfast had quite a good choice of cold foods and some warm options too.

    Hotel restaurant doesn’t open on Sunday and the “sister” restaurant was fully booked which meant I had to drive to get some food after a long day was slightly annoying. I didn’t realise that there wasn’t air conditioning in the room but overall I would definitely stay there again!
