Plovdiv deserves 3 full days. It has so much to offer. Visit the old houses in the old town / you have 6- 7 of them/ and galleries. Walk the cobbeled streets and the old farmacy and numerous restaurans. See the Roman ruins spread around town. Anciant amfitheater.VISIT THE BASILICA with huge mosaics. A tasteful mix of the very old and the very modern. The old city is beautiful and fascinating. The open spaces and water features very attractive. Historical sites are easily accessible a well looked after. Some require a bit of a climb so be prepared for that. The restaurants are varied and the food we tried all good. Some of the waiting staff need a little more training such as asking if you're finished with a dish or a drink before removing it!
