    Mountain and Comox Bay Scenery were great.

    Mountain and Comox Bay Scenery were great. Downtown Courtenay had many interesting shops, good coffee shops and bakery. Traffic across river can be slow at times. Adjacent to Comox is a bonus with Comox marina, beautiful sea views and Comox airport is 4 km from Courtenay. Courtenay is walkable. Chocolate shop/bakery on main street not to be missed.

    Stopped here one night before flying from Comox airport.

    Stopped here one night before flying from Comox airport. Seemed a nice local town and residential area with small independent shops. We didn’t have time to visit any nearby attractions or eat at local restaurants.

    People were nice.

    People were nice. Beaches along the coast were lovely and a good place to stay for visiting Courtenay itself and to use as a base for visiting other places. We ate at the Atlas Cade the first night and it was so good we went there again the second night. Great wait staff and great food.

    We stayed in Courtenay to try to go skiing, but...

    We stayed in Courtenay to try to go skiing, but unfortunately, this winter has almost no snow, but that's ok, it was our first time in town and it was nice, we had great food at Local and The Hen and Hog Cafe, I definitely recommend those two places.

    Nice town very convenient for shopping and dining The accommodation was excellent nice friendly host good breakfast would come anytime again to stay there Very recommended and relaxing it was a excellent experience Thanks to the host Good restaurants close by special Avenue bistro excellent food and breakfast at the bed and breakfast

    With a stroll through the river area I again appreciated all...

    With a stroll through the river area I again appreciated all the hard work of citizens determined to prevent flooding and also warning about personal safety near the water and on the bridge. The variety of shops is interesting. This trip we walked the river trail to the viewpoint to appreciate the Courtenay River joining the ocean. There are plenty of coffee shops, a brewery and bakery and great ethnic preferences for dinner dining. I always enjoy our visits.

    Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect—one of the best we’ve ever experienced! The staff was incredibly kind and friendly, making us feel right at home. The room was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The amenities, including the hot tub, pool, and waterslide, added so much fun and relaxation to our stay. And to top it all off, the breakfast was the best we've ever had in any Canadian hotel. For us, this was truly one of the most incredible stays ever.

    Veera is a lovely host, the room was comfortable & spacious with a full length balcony overlooking Courtenay River Estuary, I stopped there two nights whilst seeing friends in the area so made a great base not far from the town Breakfast was lovely, freshly made & healthy I would certainly stop there again when I'm on vacation
