The room (as everywhere in the B&B) was clean, beautiful and really well renovated. Our room was huge and well ventilated. The King bed was very comfortable.
Very good location near restaurants and the shore.
The breakfast was one of the best I ever ate in a B&B: fresh fruits with yogourt and granola, good coffee and tea, fruit juice, excellent Bénédictine eggs..perfect!
The quiet living room made available to us with many beautiful books...quiet as all the house.

The apartment was extremely clean! Beautiful apartment all over. Free wifi, and bell receiver to watch. Washer and dryer was a bonus as we were there for softball and uniforms needed washing. Everything you need is in the kitchen, from tea kettle to pots and pans, cutlery etc.

CanadaVery nice pool, nobody was there when we went so it was perfect. We didn't spent much time in the hotel other than that but the beds were comfortable and the staff was nice as well. Especially the worker at the pool who turned the waterside on for us then later asked about it in the hall. Very nice.

Pictou is rather a small town with a pleasant waterfront...
Pictou is rather a small town with a pleasant waterfront area but there is not a great deal to do and only limited choice of restaurants. The main attractions is the museum and replica vessel of the first Scottish settlers. We were there is October and unfortunately this was closed and the vessel was under going renovation action. There is also apparently a very nice trail along the shore but again this was under renovation action and closed. Very friendly people. The sheep farm and wool store and lavender farm were the best. Town decided to clean a septic area in front of a restaurant at lunch time! STINKY and LOUD. Ate at Harbour House Ales and Spirits.. save your money. Nook and Cranny delicious.Guest review byLee - 8.0

I love Pictou!
I love Pictou! There are great places to eat, a marvellous place on Front Street to buy pottery and other beautiful things. Love to walk along the trail by the harbour (pictures of two herons on Wednesday)and explore the small business and chat with the VERY friendly people. Beautiful town; I had a delightful sunrise yoga/prayer session by the ocean side and met some locals as well. How fantastic of a place. I truly hope you take time to stay here. Pictou is a beautiful little town with some nice historic sites, waterfront dining and some cool little shops. Unfortunately it seems that many Food & beverage places have closed permanently over the past couple of years, perhaps due to the closure of the Pulp & Paper Mill and/or the pandemic. But the huge plus is that the air no longer carries a toxic odour.Guest review byMaryCanada

There was also Keurig coffee with cream and milk in the fridge. Such a welcoming treat! The apartment was very quaint and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment was also very clean and it was great to have the use of a full kitchen. We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck with the view of Pictou harbour The location was a 2 minute walk to the waterfront, gift shops, museums & restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and the home made granola was the best granola I've ever tasted. There were several areas throughout the property allowed for relaxation or to be social.
