Ideal location next to the train station. We were able to leave our luggage with them until check in time which was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean with satellite channels on the TV and a minibar in the room

In Le Prese I discovered a different paradigm - perfection of presentation and taste can be an art form. What am I talking about? I’m talking about how this great hotel in its iconic lakeside location has moved with the times in keeping with its heritage. I’m talking about the cheerful dedication of the staff. We had a warm welcome to the beautiful hotel. There was a special, calm and relaxing atmosphere in the place, perfectly located right by the train station and close to the lake. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was good as well as the dinner in the hotel restaurant. All staff was extremely helpful and friendly to us and our dog. The garden where we dined was super lovely. We loved our stay!

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The hotel is full of charm, blending historic character with tasteful modern touches. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, featuring a spacious and relaxing bathroom. As vegans, we appreciated the extra effort the hosts made to provide us with suitable breakfast options. We’ll definitely stay here again — next time we hope to try the restaurant and bar, which were unfortunately closed during our visit.

Though the interior is a bit dated, this hotel truly captured my heart. The rooms were spacious, and the buffet breakfast was fresh and delicious. A special shout-out to the staff—one remembered my interest in visiting Diavolezza and advised me in the morning that the weather wasn’t great, suggesting we head north instead. That thoughtful advice was much appreciated and led to a great day. In the evening, we dined at the hotel’s restaurant, La Terrasse du Suisse, which was fantastic—beautiful setting, exquisite food, and I even got to speak Italian! We plan to return in summer for hikes in Valposchiavo and along the Bernina line, and we will definitely stay here again. Another plus is that it is a short walk from the train station so no need to hire a taxi.
