Excellent location in mid town Lugano, just a short trip via funicular from the train station. Lots of good restaurants close by and only a short walk to the lake. We were spoilt for choice with their delicious breakfast spread. Very friendly and helpful staff.

What a truly special place. They have thought of every detail! Beds very comfortable and rooms really clean, and the spot is magical. Love all the common areas outside the rooms and so nice how they have laid out books and games and all. Breakfast was delicious - esp the homemade jams and homemade granola. Location is brilliant for hiking. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often.

Exceptional view over Lugano; friendly, professional staff; premises slightly old fashioned yet all modern conveniences were present; very, very well maintained, clean and cosy. The hotel is situated in a small mountain village with great views but twisty roads. The room was spacious enough for one with a large en-suite which had a good shower. There is a restaurant which was very busy and the food was excellent. Breakfast was continental with a decent choice. The staff were pleasant, friendly and very helpful. I’d happily stay here again.

It is a fantastic hotel up in the mountains with a breathtaking view and twisted road to come up. We were with motorcycles, so the road is a dream for the experienced rider! The hotel is very cosy and the hosts are great! The breakfast was fantastic, so was the dinner. The chef is excellent there! Very clean. Highly recommended!
