I only stayed a day and a night which was perfect.
I only stayed a day and a night which was perfect. It was nice to experience staying somewhere a bit different from the big cities and resorts. It was very quiet and there wasn't a lot to do in Tiefencastel, I did a couple of small local walks. There was only the restaurant in the hotel, and I saw one other cafe (not open) in the town, and a shop by the rail station. The room was very spacious, clean, and modern, including bathroom, and furnished / arranged in some very stylish way, truly delightful. Very close to Tiefencastel railroad station (5-10 minutes on foot, depending on your pace), where you can take Bernina Express or another train to enjoy the Albula railroad line (and beyond).
