Staff here are amazing, super nice. The place is cool, beautiful music posters on walls. Room super clean and great shower. I stayed longer as hotel was great and close to main town and great hill to chill and look over city. Breakfast was lovely and lots of coffee. Thanks Gavin

Every aspect of this hotel is first class. The check in staff is extremly helpful. Breakfast is excellent . Location was perfect for what we wanted to see and do . Our room was looked after every day by two lovely ladies who did a fantastic job. Overall this hotel and its service helped to make this a truly great trip. The riverfront walkway and San Antonio are definitely the areas to visit but we also enjoyed an Alameda market food tour to get a sense of a normal neighborhood. One of the highlights was Cristo Rey hill, although that takes a little planning because you have to reserve a timeslot in advance (free) and arrange a taxi or Uber to get there. Salsa is also a highlight and is pretty much everywhere. While in some posts Cali has gets a bad rap for safety, we felt completely safe walking around during the day and on the riverfront and San Antonio at night, of course being aware of our surroundings.

The city has such a vibe.

The city has such a vibe. And i found it much safer than I imagined, but the traffic is a nightmare. Use the Mio - super cheap and efficient - and if you can use the Mio cable car up to Siloe. Waunana restauant was great. The market (Galeria Alameda) is wonderful, especially for fruit. Off the beaten path, but the Casa de las Memorias del conflicto y la reconciliación is an amazing space on memorialisation and restoration after this history of conflict in Cali and the Pacific region. I was there for the Cali Marathon - such a great atmosphere.

Never felt in danger although we didn’t venture on foot to unknown areas. Taxi drivers tend to slightly overcharge or go the longest route. Have your destiantion on your GPS to make sure you know the shortest route. A Small tip is most welcome.

A very gritty town with little of interest outside the...

A very gritty town with little of interest outside the historic district, and very little even there. I love all the bakeries outside the downtown area, especially along Pasoancho (Calle 13th) and everywhere in the suburbs. Not on my list of places to go back to.And a taxi driver jiggled his meter at the end of my last trip to the bus station to make it read 50% higher...I caught him.

Cali is super friendly and diverse in its design. Barrio San Antonio is beautiful and a must see. Also make sure that you visit Parque de Perros and the park of the cats on the river side. You will find good priced food, La Sirena is highly recommended for seafood, you can find it in the Jardin PLaza mall or , even better, at the Alameda market.

A lot of birds and iguans in the parks.

A lot of birds and iguans in the parks. Great Salsa Carneval at Christmas time. Eating out is very cheap, especially during lunch time. Local people were friendly and warned us about special places. The city was full of loud music.

The hotel is only 1 year old. Location is good for walking to the central city attractions. Not a lot of restaurants in the immediate vicinity but there is one jewel right behind the hotel called Platillos Voladores. Best food we had in Colombia! Decor in main areas is very nice and breakfast area very stylish. The buffet breakfast was exceptional! So many choices and small details that really lifted the experience. Bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Staff we all excellent. Underground parking a real bonus!

An excellent stay at this hostel, all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was really amazing, it was made with fresh ingredients every day. It was the best breakfast we had in Colombia. The location was very central and close to lots of sites so good for tours. The room was comfortable and there was a fan which kept us cool. The staff cleaned our room every day which was very surprising at a hostel.

Very friendly and professional stuff, very clean (the rooms got cleaned every day), good and cheap breakfast, they offer free salsa lessons and night activities, but it's not a party hostel. The atmosphere was always very chilled. For us, it was the best hostel we stayed so far during our trip in Colombia.
