The best beach club I’ve ever visited / stayed at. Absolutely stunning. Unusually well designed pool & deck area. Also excellent value - we got a 2 bedroom villa for roughly the same price as standard rooms at our very average Santa Marta hotel.

One of the most original and fabulous places we’ve stayed in Colombia, it’s only 10minute a from the chaos and high rises of Cartaghana but it felt worlds away! Te staff. Can’t do enough for you. You arrive as guests and leave a friends, we can’t recommend it enough!

Such a powerful energy around the property - amazing people to meet and wonderful staff, delightfully comfortable rooms, excellent beachside cocktails and food, great music at night that you cannot hear if you go to bed early, quick and easy boat service… overall just an incredible experience. Vanessa, Jeison and Daisy were fast friends and really made our stay perfect!!! ❤️ And the dogs!!! If you’re an animal love you’ll have no shortage of amazing new friends. Absolutely fell in love with every single 4-legged baby I met! 🐶 Also pursuant to other reviews that we read before arriving… Yes, there is sand. It’s the beach. Wash your feet off by the pool before going to your room and your room will be sand-free. Seemed obvious to us, but worth mentioning based on past reviews. There is no hot water, but who would want it anyhow?! Showers are lukewarm which is perfect after a day at the hot beach. There is some trash in the ocean, but find me an ocean that doesn’t have its share of waste. Miami, San Diego, Costa Rica… they all have trash. But Fenix staff were doing their best to pickup what they can, but like anywhere in the world, more comes with every high tide. Enjoy the island life, and let go of your expectations. if you do, you’ll have the time of your life! ⚡️

Staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful even though we were working with very limited Spanish. They made sure we were very comfortable and looked after. Extending our stay for an extra night wasn’t a problem either. Special shoutout to Santiago, Julio and Alvines who were exceptional. 😊 hopefully one day we will return

    Hotels are pretty isolated, so you may not go to another restaurant in case you don't like yours. The beach on the 'more popular' part are facing the industry harbour and the rafinery, which impede the experience.

    Tierra Bomba was a short 10-minute boat ride from Cartegena. It was situated on a long private beach with plenty of daybeds to choose from. The rooms were spacious and close to the pool/beach/restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. On our final night, we upgraded to the Private Villa with a Private pool and it was WELL WORTH IT! The private courtyard was beautiful and the pool was refreshing. The room was huge, comfortable and came with an outdoor bathroom.

    The trash at the beach Is disgusting.

    The trash at the beach Is disgusting. Please educate people in order that they understand that such a trash will not make people return for a second time. Also I saw the most terrible image with local guys fihing with dynamite!!! I was really shocked. I will not return to such a place.

    - Facilities are great (hammocks, chairs, etc) - Bungalows are spacious and comfortable, the outside bathtub is a nice feature - Personnel is friendly - Nice views of Boca Grande from the hotel and its beach - Worth noting that you can enjoy the hotel facilities by booking a day trip from Boca Grande without actually staying at the hotel at night. - Shower water is hot.

    Loved EVERYTHING about this beautiful hotel. From the warm welcome, through our 5 night stay we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere , fun-filled evenings, stylish villa and great food . The pool and beach are safe for children and we had the added excitement of 7 beautiful beach puppies to keep us entertained! Easy to reach from Cartagena by boat in 20 minutes.
