This place was a pleasant surprise for us. It's more off the beaten path and charming in all sense. The family who owns the biological station is taking good care of the premises and the guests. Absolutely fantastic, the cabins are lovely, bed comfy and the owners first class. The restaurant has great food and is brilliant value. We sat out the front of our cabin and watched toucans flying in and out of the trees! Howler monkeys in the background. Breakfast was an added bonus. Brilliant value for money, we would have paid more. We could have easily spent a few days just sitting watching the wildlife in really comfortable surroundings.

We got a room upgrade to a suite which was lovely. Dinner was good, although the entire hotel was very quiet as there were very few guests. Breakfast was ok....nothing special.
