The staff made us feel part of the family; all very friendly and laid back. Our room was very spacious and airy and the whole hotel was new and fresh and super clean. Being a former monastery, the location is nice and quiet and our room overlooked a forest. The breakfast was copious and they even made waffles for us! The breakfast room later doubles up as a cozy cafe serving nice cakes. You can also sit outside in a pleasant courtyard. All in all, this rates as one of our best hotel experiences ever. Highly recommended.

Very friendly Staff. The Hotel was lovely and clean, we even complimented one of the ladies on the cleaning staff. The food was good and the service was quick with no fuss. Breakfast was also really nice and plentiful, as a Brit I love my tea hot, unlike a lot of hotels there was a kettle to boil the water so I was able to enjoy a steaming hot cup of tea with my breakfast. The cost of two single rooms was very fair indeed. I was very surprised when told the Hotel has no stars, I would class it with 4 stars + Plus.

    Great breakfast! Friendly staff ! We had many traffic jams and had to warn to hotel that we would be arriving much later than initially planned. It wasn't a problem at all and when we arrived a friendly staff member was waiting for us! Excellent location! We often book a hotel in the area when we are travelling up north to Finland (or on our way back home) and we will remember this hotel for next time!

    A lovely hotel in a peaceful setting within the small town of Damme. Good size and well equipped room and a great selection, both hot and cold, for breakfast. There is also an excellent restaurant at the hotel at which we had dinner. Very good food and great atmosphere.
