The location is really nice if you travel to Black forest, make you feel closer to the nature. All staffs there are very nice and friendly. Room is super, big and clean. I have to say, it is the best hotel I have ever booked. Both my husband and son like this hotel very much. Fantastic experience！

The forest room was an absolut delight: clean, spacious, bright, lovely decoration, great bathroom, colours... The staff was helful and assisting at any time needed. The little town of Wolfach is totally worth a visit and from the accomodation there are a few hiking routes. Despire being close to the railways, it was totally quiet at night. I cannot wait to get back for a longer time. Oh, and the parking is right opposite to the hotel!

Everything was top notch and they even had a garage for the motorcycle which they offered on their own as it was raining heavily at no cost whatsoever. Breakfast was great while the restaurant was open for lunch and dinner as well. A perfect stop to catch a breather and rest.

A fantastic, family run hotel in the centre of the Black Forest. Everything was beyond our expectations. The size of the room, the terrace and all the meals. Despite the number of guests, including young children, all was blissfully quiet for the entire day and night. All the staff were first rate in every respect. An added bonus for us, was the light lunch, provided at no extra cost between 1 and 2pm. We cannot fault this hotel and shall return again soon. Wonderful walking from the doorstep or at short distances in every direction.

Gutach is a great base for exploring the Black Forest.

Gutach is a great base for exploring the Black Forest. The scenery is great, and the distances to better known towns is not great. The open air museum was much more than I expected, tho the tourist gauntlet to get to the front gate is a bit much. The KONUS card is a great benefit. Free train rides and discounts to the best attractions. Be sure to eat at the Rathskeller in Hausach

The hosts are affable and helpful, and their modern rental apartment is in a charming 350 years old house. It has beautiful views to a castle up the valley, and to the surrounding Black Forest (Schwartzwald) on the mountains. The pleasant rural village of Gutach has some fine cafes and restaurants, including two at the outstandingly well presented and interesting open air museum. The bus and rail services are excellent for travelling locally or further afield, and there is a good variety of hiking paths into the Schwartzwald.

Lovely place with such a welcoming vibe. It is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the owners go out of their way to make you feel at home and help you finding activities or restaurants in the area that fit your wishes (or dietary restrictions). Me and my partner have been travelling through Germany, specifically the Black Forest area, and this is by far the best hotel we've been to.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, providing valuable tips for exploring the surrounding area. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel's central location made it convenient for sightseeing and starting hikes. The breakfast was truly outstanding, couldn't have wished for a better start to the day.

I loved staying here. The room was so clean. Felt like home. They have all facilties like kitchen on the ground floor with kettle,fridge, knives, plates etc. Also washing machine with dryer on the basement. It was so hot when we were in Gutach, but they even provided a fan upon request. Loved their service😊
