The hotel and restaurant are lovely. We bought some wine at the restaurant and drank it on our balcony which had a phenomenal view of the river!! Bed and furniture was very nice, the bathroom was spacious and sufficient. Bike storage was fine-we had them outside of our front door on the walkway but they were secure.

It is a beautiful location with a lovely hotel. The road towards the hotel was already putting us in a relaxed mode. So much green! The hotel looks beautiful. The receptionist was very welcoming and nice, explained us where everything was and that we could still eat at a restaurant 150 meters down the road if we'd hurry (we arrived at 20.15, the restaurant kitchen closed at 20.30). The rooms were spacious, looked renewed, and we had a view on the garden. The beds were nice, the shower was great. Breakfast was also lovely, many choices. You could also eat breakfast outside if you wanted to. We stayed for just one night since we were travelling home from Croatia and were looking for a hotel halfway, near Passau. I'm sure we'll come again!

The host is really friendly and helpful! we arrived in the late night and the host waited for us and came pick us up at the front door. She was so lovely and introduced the rooms and the facilities. The breakfast was very nice as well. a great selection of the food. The environment is very family friendly and the garden for kids is an asset! This is certainly an unforgettable experience!     The hotel is really nice. An ancient building full of history.The view was stunning. Beds are comfortable. We booked two rooms for our family. It is a pet friendly hotel which is amazing: outside some rooms there is a balcony that goes outside a little patch of grass. We did not travel with a pet, therefore be aware that in some rooms the dog smell will persist.

    Very well placed hotel with an exceptional view of the Danube and the hills. Breakfast well provided. Good choice of dishes in the restaurant. Lovely location for walks, visits to Passau or a boat trip on the Danube.
