Wonderful stay, everything was perfect! Very beautiful and large room, well equipped, comfortable bedding, modern bathroom, generous buffet breakfast, very good restaurant menu. Very beautiful, quiet environment. Perfect as a starting point for visiting and hiking in Schwarz Wald.

It was a very nice stay with our 2 y.o. son. This Ferienwohnung is really suitable for that - child chair, bathtub, owner provided a crib, but we just used the bed in other room. There was everythiing we need. Host is friendly and helpful. Location is also great to spend time with the child. Oppenau is a very nice tiny quiet place in Schwarzwald - just 15 min by car to the Allerheiligen waterfall, ~35 min by car to Alternative Wolf and Bear Park Black Forest (which is absolutely great to visit), and nice town Oberkirch is also in 10-15 min drive.

This large apartment was a spacious, comfortable, and clean. Set in a fantastic location, the view from the private balcony was spectacular. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, we had fresh bread delivered to our door daily which was baked directly beneath us and we were able to purchase supplies from the farm shop. We especially enjoyed the wonderful BBQ selection which we cooked in the glorious sun. The kitchen was well equipped and the coffee machine full of fresh beans was much appreciated. We travelled on motorbikes and were able to keep these under cover in one of the barns which was most appreciated.

    Wonderful little 'classic' German city.

    Wonderful little 'classic' German city. Highly recommended for the waterfall area( Allerheiligen-Wasserfälle ), the German bakeries around, the cycling and trekking routers. Also recommended, is visiting the International center of Art of Living which is located in Bad Antogast, 10 mins from Oppenau by car.

    Staff were all excellent, extremely kind and helpful. The restaurant is superb. I didn't like that there was no air-conditioning..it was hot during the night. Location is superb I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant If I will come back to that area during winter, definitely will go there

    Room was excellent, slept well, brilliant shower. The staff 👏👏Bjorn and his team couldn't do enough for us. They were always polite and cheerful and nothing was too much. I can't recommend this hotel enough. I'm already booked to come back in July and will definitely be using the Muhlengluck for all future visits to this area.

    Perfect base to explore the Rench Valley, including many and varied walks through the Black Forest. The property is in the heart of Oppenau, not far from the train station, supermarket and cafes. Many hours can be enjoyably spent on the balcony watching the world go by.

    Very good located stay - right in the center of the Schwarzwald. Convenient parking and close by shops. Has restaurant in the hotel, however we did not use. Decent breakfast served.
