The check in at arrival was a bit hectic. We eventually figured it out. Other than that place was great. Clean. I must say The walls are a bit thin. The place is somewhat quiet, you can’t help kids that go wild in the morning. Location was good for a walk and for pets. Big with comfy beds. Everyone gets there own sheets and towels. Much appreciated. The bathroom is not in some rooms so that is shared but that was ok. And the beds are not king size but queen size FYI.Guest review byCisnerosUnited States - 10.0

First picture is view from the room and entrance to cable cars. Second picture is view on the hotel from cable cars. Third picture is view on the hotel from the top of the hill and fourth one is room. The food is awesome. Breakfast and dinner have a huge selection and the menu changes everyday. In summer the Kongiscard gives a lot of options in and around Pfronten and the Allgau region. Some other reviews have noted that the hotel is dated but in my opinion, it is charming. Everything works, it is clean and the service is excellent. Perfect location: it's close to Füssen and Schwangau (15 min by car). You can reach Pfronten Steinach railway station in 12 minutes by foot (there are two cable cars near the station rising to the large hiking area).
