This is a very well run hotel. Everything and everyone was wonderful. The staff are so friendly and so helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and has everything you need. I decided to stay for dinner instead of going out in the heavy rain at the time and I am so glad I did. Highly recommended! And make sure you stay for breakfast. Wonderful! So much choice and very well cooked and prepared. Can’t wait to return…

Our room at Hotel Starnberger See was a nice one, and the balcony offered a good view of the street in front of the hotel, which is not far away from the lake. Our room was neat and tidy, with enough space. On our arrival, the receptionist was so kind with us. She came out in the street to show us where we can park. In the morning, breakfast was good. We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening and the atmosphere at the restaurant was excellent. The food was very good and our waitress was very helpful, kind and also cheerful. I would have loved to stay at Starnberg for one more night to have dinner in this restaurant again. I would like to thank all the staff at Hotel Starnberger See for their excellent service. Thank you so much.

Great location and good facilities in the apartment. We didn’t meet Melanie in person, but communication was fast and easy via the Booking.com app. We were only an older couple, but there were lots of toys and books for small children, and a folding travel bed as well.

Charming town on the lake with wonderful promenade. Good train service. Lots of (expensive) shops. Wirtshaus is a great experience for Bavarian food. La Bagnarota Ristorante (Italian) is very convenient, friendly with good food. Avoid the Gallo Nero restaurant. Mediocre food and poor service.

This is a very charming hotel, with very pleasant staff. The reception is only staffed until 5 pm. We were due to arrive late and the receptionist went out of her way to make sure that we were able to get in and find our keys. Breakfast was very good. The location was good for us as we arrived from Munich by train and it was only about 5-6 minutes walk from the station. It is relatively central and good for access to the lake shore.
