A very special place. Booked this last mintue (30 minutes before arriving) as our initial booked hotel looked rather scary. We were so glad to have discovered this gem and just a jump from the Autobahn. Although the rooms are not big (no mini-fridge or kettle etc) they make up for it in style with a decent-sized shower. Francisca at reception was kind enough to show us a couple of different rooms as we struggle to sleep with noise. She was beyond accomodating. Goes without saying that the room was immaculate. There are spa facilities here, but as it was just a quick overnight stay we didn't use any of those options. Also big thanks to Frankie in the restaurant - a breath of fresh air - she made us feel extremely welcome in the wonderful beer garden. As advertised the breakfast was a feast and good coffee too with even the choice of filter or espresso.

The room was larger than expected. The beds were comfy for me (soft). The room was clean. The staff was friendly. All around, it was a pleasant one-night stay on a roadtrip through the area. Breakfast was really nice.

The hosts are so kind and helpful! We arrived later than we had announced and were received warmly. The restaurant was closed, but the host recommended us a great alternative. The rooms are perfectly comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was excellent, with even a warm egg and a fire in the hearth. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely liked everything. The bed could have been a little softer, but that is really down to personal preference. Staff was very accommodating, friendly and polite. Especially Luther could not do enough to make my stay pleasant. He is a credit to the Hotel. The room was a generous size, my request for parquet flooring could be accommodated (allergies), the bathroom offered all one could wish for and need, even a bathroom scale was thought of. Both room and bathroom were spotless. It is the little things, from parking my car, to delivery of my suitcases, to the turndown service and the unobtrusive attention of the staff that make this a wonderful hotel. This was not my first visit and it was as good as I remembered, if not better. This is how you run a hotel. I can only recommend and will stay again, if/when I am back in Augsburg.
