The apartment was ideal for a family. There are two bedrooms with wardrobes and two great bathrooms. Everything is new and having a dishwasher and washing machine was very practical. The highlight for me was the private roof terrace. It is a wonderful space to sunbathe and there is a shower for cooling off. Also a great place for watching the sunset and drinking an apéro! The pool is very nice and is open until 10pm. There is also a gym in the residence and an allocated parking space. The beach and restaurants are only a ten minute walk away from the apartment. Kasia met us at the apartment to give us the keys and show us the facilities. She is a lovely lady and very helpful. The communication was excellent throughout our stay and we really appreciated the effort she made to make our holiday extra special.

Very easy check-in with a code. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was surprisingly big, couch and beds very comfortable. We especially liked the large balcony. During our stay in September there were not many people at the pool, which was nice. The host was also super helpful, gave very clear instructions to get to the accommodation and responded quickly to any questions we had. Location was great; we could walk to the beach and there is a bus stop (line R10) nearby that takes you to the airport in 15 mins for less than €2.

We loved it. Gorgeous beach. Good transport links to surrounding areas. Friendly people. Our holiday was so enjoyable. But no good supermarkets for buying groceries unless you drive up to Gran Alacant. We didn’t have a car so shopped at the small supermarkets where the produce choice was very, very slim. Fruit, veg, crisps, drinks etc. are all easy to get but you couldn’t get basic things like chicken or any meat to cook in the evening. So self catering is difficult. But if you have a car, you can easily drive up to the big stores. The restaurants are ok. Nothing that was really great. Bus into Alicante didn’t stop for us at the bus stop where I had been waiting so I walked to the next stop and had to wait quite a while (with my toddler) for the next one. It’s also difficult to know how to get back to Arenales by bus once you‘re in the city. It would be helpful as a tourist to have this information. But saying all this, as I said, we love this place, it was already our second time there and we will definitely return (maybe in spring already).

Arenales del Sol is a great seaside town, with gorgeous beaches, great restaurants, cafes, mini marts and shops, as well as water sports activities available. The people are so lovely, friendly and helpful. Be sure to make a stop at Garrigos ice-cream parlour! The Tuesday and Friday food and clothes market was great, with lots of bargains and super fresh fruit and vegetables. There is a really good and easy to use bus service that goes into the lovely city of Alicante as well as into the lovely town of Santa Pola.

Excellent apartment, with a large amount of covered outside...

Excellent apartment, with a large amount of covered outside space for the grandchildren to play. The two infinity pools that were usually empty when we went there and the children's pool kept them entertained in safety, there were always relaxers available by the main pools. Internally the apartment had all the equipment we needed. We didn't have a car, however this would have been useful as there are no supermarkets that were within easy walking distance, (only a couple of small shops, although they were well stocked, but quite a bit more expensive that a supermarket) however we did walk to the local Aldi, but that was about 1 - 2 kilometres (estimated) away. We were used to using the bus service in the area, and there is a bus stop on the main road, which takes you to the supermarkets in a few minutes, as well as trips to the fishing village of Santa Pola and Alicante City. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing holiday, even with the grandchildren

This resort is predominantly residential and built on a steep hillside. It's a 15-20 minute transfer from Alicante airport, making it ideal for short or long breaks. There is a good selection of bars & restaurants on the main road, which runs parallel with the beach for the whole length of the resort. Alongside the main road is a lovely flat(ish) walkway. We had a wheelchair and this made moving around the resort very easy. Behind the main road and walkway there is nothing but apartments. If you are 'self catering, there are only 3 small 'supermarkets' in the resort. these tend to be expensive and the ranges limited. Larger supermarkets like Lidl, Aldi, Mercadona etc... are about 2-3 miles away, so a car is necessary. We used the Mercadona home delivery one week & it was very good. The beach was fantastic & beautifully kept. We had a storm the day we arrived and seaweed was washed up on the beach. A couple of days later it was all gone, as the local authority rake the beach every night. Along the beach are lifeguard stations offering facilities for the elderly & disabled to go swimming. All in all it's a lovely resort & we would probably go again. Although next time we would hire a car at the airport.

Lovely quiet area not filled with tourists and just locals out on their morning fitness regime or heading to the beach or having lunch/dinner which was great for us as a family as it’s our type of holiday to see more of the local culture and people. The beaches and area in general is very clean and well looked after and the beach is beautiful especially a nice swim in the warm water which I would highly recommend. Restaurants are were good with a number of them to choose from. The people are very friendly and welcoming which always adds to the experience of the holiday. If you like a quiet relaxed atmosphere with lovely people and a beautiful beach then I would highly recommend Arenales del Sol

The apartment was really comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The views were stunning and it was within a short walking distance from the beach, several shops and restaurants. The pool and common area were clean and very well maintained. Highly recommend this apartment to any looking to stay in Arenales del Sol.

Everything is near the property, the places is clean, comfortable, and mostly family friendly but still quiet. Perfect if you want to relax at the infinity pool or to exercise at the gym. The view from the hotel at sunrise and sunset is beautiful.
