Very good location right next to the cathedral. The lady at the reception was very friendly and gave good suggestions for food and places to visit. For the room, the age of the place appeared charming, for the bathroom, it seemed a bit outdated.

Lovely hotel, nice comfortable rooms. The thing that made it for us though was the excellent service from the gentleman who checked us in. He shown us the way to the parking garage and helped us park, he was so very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely sensational service. We didnt get his name though :-(

Burgos was a great place, some historical Churches, the vibe of the city was great. Had to get our head around the restaurant opening and closing times, but once we knew it was alright. Yes I would recommend this city to friends.

Found a lovely place to eat Pinchos (tapas) very nice and not far from the hotel. The city is beautiful with so many buildings of architectural interest. Only staying one night whilst travelling through Spain was not enough time to appreciate everything the hotel had to offer.

We went to Burgos for the Cathedral and were not disappointed. The City centre is pedestrianised so it was easy to stroll around and find good tapas bars. There is a riverside park which must be lovely in the Summer.

Burgos is an historic city, still with lots of lovely buildings. It is quite small, so easy to get around. The centre is partly pedestrianised, has lots of restaurants, bars, squares and parks so is very tourist-friendly.
The cathedral is splendid but not really to my taste. The new Museum of the Evolution of Man shows off the recent local discoveries of prehistoric
hominids which are by far the oldest in Europe. But it's aimed at adults, especially Spanish-speakers, not so much families.
Burgos celebrates its most famous son - El Cid - and being on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.

I liked the old town, its plethora of Romanesque churches and the Cathedral. I really liked the museum that was opposite our accommodation in Calle Miranda. For just one euro one can see artifacts from celt-iberian peoples, Greek, Roman and Spanish Medieval. All this is housed in a 15th century residence of a Canon from the Cathedral.
There was some great places to eat. I highly recommend Cerveceria 100 Montitos.
The location was great. 10 minutes walk to the centre of Burgos. The room was good and clean with everything we needed and the bed was very big. But the best thing were the staff, really friendly and helpful. They looked after our luggage when we had checked out so that we could have a final walk around the city. I know that every hotel does that but they were so nice and a credit to the hotel.
I would absolutely stay here again next time we come to Burgos.
We have stayed at Hotel Maria Luisa many times when in Burgos. Location is good and about a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral/Plaza Mayor area with many bars and restaurants. Best of all, the hotel has parking available (for a fee) in the car park across the street. A modest breakfast buffet is served at a reasonable price. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
We had a shared room for the 3 of us, plenty of space and our own bathroom. The location was perfect right in the centre of Burgos. The public parking was just a 3 min walk and easy to find on google. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has an old world charm, and the staff very helpful.
We stayed 2 nights here in Burgos to rest and sightsee. Hotel Agora was very good for this purpose. Great breakfast. Great shower. We were there on a Thursday and Friday night the the streets were full of people enjoying themselves. Really cool.
Staff were friendly, hotel is next door to University of Burgos campus, and the bar downstairs serves good coffee. Hotel was bike friendly too. Hotel is an easy 2km cycle into the centre of town. Plenty of parking at the University.
Just a few metres from the cathedral. A short walk to the town and river. Burgos is a magical place. We have stayed at this hotel a few times now and always had a great time. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. Love it.
It is an exceptional hotel. The staff were brilliant and the facilities were great.
Only problem is that it’s hard to walk anywhere so a car is more or less essential. Also Burgos is a lovely and interesting city.
Perfect location if you are driving into Burgos: there's a parking garage right around the corner, and the hotel is directly across from the main entrance gate to the old city, very close to the cathedral.
The location was great to get into Burgos centre. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Free on road parking outside the hotel. Great value for money.
Old-fashioned elegant hotel in the heart of old Burgos. Very easy getting around to sites & restaurants. Staff very helpful. Great view from our window/mini balcony.
