A busy tourist beachside town with plenty of choice for restaurants bars etc as well as the usual holidays shops. The main shopping area is pedestrianised so thats great but for me too crowded and busy, a sort of Spanish Benalmadena without the nonsense, clean, no drinks and no nonsense

Calella beach was very clean and stretches for a few miles before it joins the next resort and didn’t get overcrowded. Nice restaurants and bars and the town is much quieter than Lloret which was a pleasant surprise. Would recommend a visit and would definitely go back.
It is easy to walk around the narrow streets and along the promenade to the next resorts along the coast. We didn’t hire the free bikes as we preferred to walk but the offer of free bike hire is definitely a bonus offered by the hotel.

Calella is 1.5h from Barcelona city.
Calella is 1.5h from Barcelona city. If you're prepared to travel that far outside the city, then stay here. There are not a lot of activities to do in the area, this place is best for lounging about on the beach or by the pool.
We did not have any breakfast or dinner options but they sure looked amazing. Beds if you are tall may not be the best option for you as they are a bit short but I am short so for me all good. Great Reception, great help, great greeting. Would have not been more satisfied, Surprised as the beach was a stones throw away and they even include Beach, Spa towels, robes and slippers. My kind of Hotel. Will be back again you can count on it. Location was excellent and its a boutique hotel which I love. Do not miss out!!
Everything was great! The location of the hotel is just perfect. The staff were very nice and professional. Ms Carmen is the best receptionist in the world! Food was exceptional, always fresh and every day something different. Wi-Fi everywhere in the hotel, including the rooms and the signal was excellent. Rooms were very clean and they wold clean them and change the towels every day if you ask for it. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone! Great value for money!!!
Great location, very central in Calella, only few mimutes away from the centre.
The breakfast is great.. very good and tasty!! The staff very polite, helpful and informative.
The rooms are big enough, I had a single one with a terrace and quiet. Cleaning status was excellent.
I fully recommend it.
Bus stop to Barcelona city/airport and near village locations: in only 3 minutes.

Big big recommendation!!!
All was super. I had a hotel with everything included except for water. You can eat what you want ,but for simple water you need to pay(cola,fanta,wine,etc...)
Room was clean, big shower, AC incl.,with balcony.
But i was hier for sea and city. The city was beautiful. Calella is a beautiful place and cheap.

Superb Location, stayed for Ironman and was 5 minute walk to registration/finish line. was very basic but for the price we paid we expected that so wasn't shocked. very steep to get up to hut (especially after finishing ironman!) but well worth it when you get there, sea views for days, genuinely possibly the best view I've had!
This is our fourth time coming to this wonderful place. Everything is great: breakfast, large bed, room cleaning every day, wonderful staff Martin and Petra, proximity to the beach, proximity to the supermarket, hospitable owners, price - quality = the best!!! We recommend it to everyone.
The hotel is conveniently located. The breakfast is perfect (it was the best decision to include it into out stay): there was a wide range of dishes. It is really convenient to get to the beach. There is a blackout that helps you to sleep sound and the beds are really comfortable.
All in all I had a very pleasant stay here. The building and facilities have been modernized and well maintained ever since. Staff is friendly and professional. Also having two pools and a large pool area is not common for 3 star hotels in Spain.
Staff were so helpful and friendly
No queue for the all inclusive
Pool area very nice
Amazing views from the room
Perfect location its practically on the beach and so central to everything
Good entertainment and games
Adults only was great
Incredible 4day break in beautiful Calella the hotel was in the perfect location and from 1st booking away back in January Owner Pol was outstanding in helping all my needs. Will be back to visit at any opportunity
The location is very handy close to the beach, bar and restaurants. The alternative of getting umbrellas and chairs at beach restaurant NUI is also good, as you can book and pay directly at hotel reception.
We like that its very close to everything(Train station, beach, restaurants, supermarket, and parks.) They have bicycle we use to go around calella. And the staff were very helpful and smiling.
Calella is a small town, walking street is nice and there are enough shopping facilities. Also many good restaurants. Beach areas are very good cared. Easy train access to Barcelona.
Very nice stay at hotel meri Sol this is my first trip to Spain and my experience is amazing because the staff was very polite and ready to help you alway thank you to all
Everything, nice staff, super clean and every day room make up, perfect breakfast, nice swimming pool & jacuzzi. I wold like to give 4* for the hotel services and staff.
