The hotel was clean and well placed. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a choice of 15 euro full breakfast or pay for what you wanted separately at a reasonable price. Would stay there again.

Charming hotel with a unique environment and privacy. It’s located within a restored abbey from the XII century with only 30 rooms and a lot of privacy. Personnel is looking after you from minute 1 and are extremely polite. Finally, we have been doing wine tasting around the world for years and this has been the best experience by far. Everything was perfect. I went to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and I told the team, that made our stay unforgettable. They upgraded our room for our celebration, the breakfast was unreal, the attention absolutely amazing. The restaurant is a MUST go! And if you have time, do the wine experience, you won’t regret. A small boutique hotel in the middle of the wine area close to at least 11 bodegas/chateau in the neighbourhood. Beautiful location along the Douro river with excellent parking facilities. The kitchen is outstanding. very impressed by the dishes, their taste and quality and the very knowledgeable waiter .
