A fantastic property, and great, attentive hosts. Beautiful views and access to great restaurants and bars, Fornalutx is a lovely village. It should be understood that access to the property is only by a short walk up stone steps (there are two routes up and both have steps) but this was no problem for us at all and worth it for how nice the property is and how great the views are.

I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. When I came in, the room was ready (before 2 pm!) and I also got the upgrade - luckily. The fruits in the room, the terrace overlooking the bay, nice selection of teas. The hotel garden area not to miss, really big territory and a lot of space for sunbathing. Nice amenities creating the atmosphere of wellness club.

Extremely clean, very well situated just off main square in soller (in our experience, a perfect base for exploring Mallorca), really appreciated the free private parking in an underground car park. Next to cake shop which does pastries and coffee. Has everything you need!

we enjoyed our stay in Alaro to the fullest! First of all, we loved the village, which was not too touristy and therefore some restaurants were also open during winter, but still really well located for our trips. Then, our expectations were exceeded by the accommodation. Great hosts and lovely service! We would definitely book again and will also recommend it to everybody who wants to visit Mallorca.

    Amazing location right in the middle of the Tramuntana...

    Amazing location right in the middle of the Tramuntana mountains. At the same time it is 30 minutes drive to Palma, 40 minutes walk to Soller and about an hour walk to Soller Port. I was able to explore all surrounding areas, Valdemossa, Deia, Lluc, Pallenca, Alaro, did few trips to Palma when it rained. But the nature is amazing.

    Fornalutx is a hidden gem, a charming little village in the heart of great mountains. It is definitely for people who love to slow down and enjoy the nature or the rhythm of smaller Majorcan City. There is a remarkable ice cream place called Pruna, which has locally made ice cream. The Italian restaurant “Calzone” is to be avoided since each of our orders, pizza, ravioli, or tiramisu doesn't seem Italian 🙈 We had the dinner in Groenk Bistro&Grill. The staff was great, but the food was unfortunately overrated. If you like a local spot, I recommend visiting the little beach called Cala Tuent. Mostly visited by locals. Or see the Valldemosa and Deia, (must see) charming and a bit bigger neighboring towns.

    During winter, Fornalutx is still visited by many tourists...

    During winter, Fornalutx is still visited by many tourists for hiking in the nearby mountains. However, there are only two restaurants open during December and you need to make reservations (by phone) for the one in the city center if you want to go there. I can highly recommend them though! Do not trust Google for telling you opening times of anything in Mallorca. Google is generally unaware of opening times and more often than not we found a closed door.

    A lovely village but busier than any of our previous 12 stays. Good choice of restaurants and nice tourist shops. House rentals have become much more expensive. Much more regular bus from local areas such as Soller and the Port mean more day trippers and direct flights from the USA mean more diverse travellers coming.

    Absolutely LOVED Fornalutx, beautiful little village with amazing restaurants and Forn de Barri is without a doubt the best bakery I've ever been to. The village is very close to Sóller and Port de Sóller which are two really nice areas. A bit of a trek if you want to go down to Palma or anywhere that side of the island. We stayed in Fornalutx for an entire week and rented a car to drive everywhere, but if I were to do it again I would probably only stay in the village for a couple of days and then stay in somewhere like Palma.

    This is the fifth time we have stayed in Fornalutz, so I think you can tell we like it. It's a lovely village with beautiful views over Soller and the Tramunta mountains. There's an excellent village shop, a bakery and several decent cafe's and restaurants. Lots of nice walking in the area.

    Such a brilliant stay- a big thank you to Polina and Miguel for such a wonderful time. We were staying for our baby moon and it was just what was needed. We could chill by the pool, walk to the square and have a drink or supper. There are about 6 restaurants in fornalutx, all delicious and no walk at all which was ideal as I am in third trimester and so walking not always easy in heat!! Highly recommend- oh and the breakfast is so delicious. Big thank you

    the house is on a mountain near to fornalutx, and has a beautiful terrasse with a lovely view down the hill. We more often used the beautifull chimney in the living room, because the weather was very cold. Everything we needed was in the house. the owner and the caretaker were both very helpful und kind.

    I had a lovely few days here. The hotel location in the village was perfect for me, as I did lots of walking and the village is blessed with being surrounded by beautiful scenery. The hotel staff were great, very friendly and helpful.
