We visited Fornells pre season, therefore very quiet and a lot of bars, restaurants and shops hadnt opened. everything was about to open up. my opinion is it is the perfect place for 'boaties'. you need a car to travel to beaches as there isnt a beach at Fornells. Although parking can be difficult in the port itself, there is plenty of parking available a short walk behind the village. An upmarket quirky and pretty village. a varied selection of restaurants offering fish or the famous Lobster stew. plentyt of walks for enthusiasts. Tirant Playa is 4 km from Fornells, a fact which is not made clear. It is at Platjes Fornells, another place. There is an excellent swimming pool and the apartments are very big . The atmosphere is relaxed and it's a great place to visit for padel boarding, kayaking, diving or renting a boat. There is a wide choice of trips, charters and ways to get in the water, or if you want a great seafood meal, there are several restaurants to choose from. Staff was kind and helpful. There were a few minor problems at the beginning but the hotel also checks for an intermediate review during the stay and they addressed the identified issues which were solved (this is very positive and not that common that hotels do this kind of assessment).
