The hotel is just outside of Ecija, so suited my travel plans. It is on a main road but set well back and otherwise surrounded by countryside so was peaceful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served from 7, and was very nice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful — especially Nestor from the night shift who quickly fixed an air conditioner issue, and the kind lady from the morning shift (didn’t catch her name). The hotel is clean and well located if you’re traveling by car and want to visit Córdoba, Granada, Seville, etc. Free parking in front of the hotel is a big plus.

Halfway between Seville and Córdoba, in the Guadalquivir valley, is this 15th century Franciscan monastery converted into a Destination Hotel.

Fantastic stay in a former monastery, it was invaluable for a history enthusiast like me. The accomodation is a perfect base if you would like to visit both Sevilla and Córdoba. The breakfast was lovely with home made pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice. I would recommend to have a dinner in the onsite restaurant as well, it is also an extraordinary culinary experience, the vegetables are grown in the monastery’s own kitchen garden.

We really loved this place. The hosts were warm and informative, they gave us a great sense of everything needed despite the language barrier (we didn't speak much Spanish). We were able to park safely on site too. The room was really nice; good shower, good bed. The building itself is really beautiful - from the tasteful atrium to the jacuzzi room to the roof terrace. Would definitely recommend
